Located 16km up Mountain road from Ohakune the Mangawhero falls is one of the most easily accessible waterfalls in the Tongariro National Park. The Falls them selves are 28 metres high and located just off the mountain road. 

I rate this activity for the view and accessibility rather the walk as the 300m walk is hardly long enough to enjoy your surroundings, it is a good stop on your way to the top of mountain road.
